1. Not washing your makeup brushes:

Majority of us use makeup brushes and beauty blenders to apply our makeup each day. With that being said, after each application, these tools start to collect oil, residue and dust, which will cause clogged pores and breakouts if not regularly washed.

How to clean your makeup brushes:
- wet the bristles with lukewarm water (make sure only the bristles get wet.)
- squeeze out some liquid soap in the palm of your hand and gently massage the bristles in circular         motions.
-  rinse the bristles and gently squeeze out excess water.
- put the brush down to dry.

Touching your face:

Our hands come into contact with so many germs everyday. This is why it is so important that we do not touch our faces. Get into the habit of washing your hands before you touch your face.

Not having a proper skincare routine:

A proper skincare routine is so important because our skin is the largest barrier against infection. Keeping our skin healthy and hydrated keeps this barrier strong.

Pillow Case:

The reason you're struggling with acne and breakouts could be right under your nose. When your pillowcase isn't changed regularly, a build-up of dirt from your pillow will cause breakouts.
